The date a die-cut tape order ships from Shenzhen is set by signed drawing acknowledgement, the arrival of the ordered material and the cutting window the job is booked into, and lead time for die-cut tape from China is confirmed at quotation against those three rather than from a standing table. For a plant in Chonburi, Rayong or Bangkok the practical difficulty is that these inputs sit in different calendars: your line consumes weekly, our material reservation depends on a coat lot, and the sea leg to Laem Chabang then has to be booked against a date that is already fixed. This page separates the two questions and shows how we answer each.

Where the date is decided for a Thailand order

Two inputs move first for a Thai buyer, and neither is cutting.

The first is the construction. A grade we slit and laminate here can be reserved at drawing sign-off, so the production window is the next event. A branded film or a specialty liner that reaches us through distribution puts a supplier's schedule in front of ours, and a date quoted before that is checked is a date with no owner.

The second is format. Parts on a slit liner that index into a feeder, sheets nested on a plate and loose through-cut pads are three different sequences with different tooling steps, and the same drawing can therefore carry two honest dates depending on how your station receives it. Narrow slit rolls share a material plan with the rest of that construction on the slitting side, which is why a strip order and a converted part should never be compared on one number.

Freight belongs to neither. It is scheduled after the shipping date, on the term you selected, and the two dates are quoted as separate lines so a change of forwarder cannot damage a production commitment.

Ports, clusters and the transit figures we publish

Shipments leave Shenzhen by sea, air and express, with LCL consolidation available for smaller volumes. The Thailand market page states sea freight from Shenzhen to Laem Chabang at typically 6–10 days port to port and express at 2–5 working days door to door; those are transit ranges published for the route, and your order's actual date is set at quotation against the destination port or address. The destinations we ship to most often are Bangkok and Chonburi, the Rayong eastern economic corridor, Ayutthaya and Lamphun, with Laem Chabang carrying the loaded containers and Bangkok the door deliveries.

On terms: EXW, FOB Shenzhen, CIF or DDP by agreement, with FOB Shenzhen standard and CIF to Laem Chabang or door delivery in Bangkok arranged against your address. Whether you or your forwarder acts as importer of record has to be settled before a delivered date or price is quoted, and no freight or insurance figure is stated before the shipment plan is known.

The five points we review before confirming a date

  1. Drawing acknowledgement — revision, controlling dimensions, kiss or through cut, liner format and total stack thickness, since tool geometry is derived from this document.
  2. Material position — whether the ordered grade is slit and laminated here, and what its arrival date is if it is not, including whether alternates are permitted.
  3. Route and tooling — flat-bed plate, rotary cylinder, laser or CNC path, with the engineering step each one adds before the machine; the die-cutting routes set that out.
  4. The booked cutting window — which machine, which slot, and what else sits in it, together with how the plan looks across peak weeks and the lunar new year shutdown.
  5. Packing and release pattern — carton count, batch labelling, and whether the order ships as one delivery or as dated partial releases drawn from a single run.

Lead time on both sides of that list — prototype and first-article timing, production start and shipping date — is confirmed at quotation against those five inputs, which is what makes a date reviewable when one of them moves.

Delivery and document flow

After the acknowledgement comes the material reservation, then tooling, then the cutting window, then the first-article dimensional and visual report against your revision, then packing and the booking. Documents follow the ordered grade: technical data sheet with its test methods, safety data sheet, RoHS and REACH statements scoped to that material, the first-article report, the packing list naming carton count and liner format, and the batch record linking each delivery to incoming lot, coat batch, slit date, cut order and inspection. ISO 9001 is available as certificate and audit scope on request. Under FOB Shenzhen the goods pass the ship's rail at our port and the onward plan becomes yours; under CIF the freight and insurance lines are quoted against the destination instead.

What to send us

  • The drawing with revision number and the dimensions your assembly controls
  • The construction or brand-grade reference you have qualified, and whether alternates are acceptable
  • Whether the receiving station takes slit liner, sheets or loose parts
  • Your release pattern and receiving address, plus who acts as importer of record
  • Any line-stop date you are planning against, so the review of inputs happens before a promise is made

Send those through a quotation request, or write to yantian0606@gmail.com and we reply from the cutting plan rather than from a brochure. WhatsApp 8613554863137 for lead time read against your drawing.

Commercial and process terms on this page are the questions a converter has to answer, not a standing offer. Order quantities, lead times, tooling charges, sample terms, freight and payment structures are confirmed at quotation against your drawing, your material and your destination, and only figures already published elsewhere on this site are stated as commitments.
