Send drawings as PDF, DXF, STEP or a dimensioned photo. If you are not sure which material you need, describe the two surfaces and the environment — that is enough to start.

Enquiry

What to put in the first message

The route you choose matters less than the detail you send. This is what we need to stop asking questions and start proposing material.

A first enquiry that names the two surfaces, the load and the environment can usually be answered with a shortlist in the same reply. One that says only "we need double-sided tape" needs a second round before anyone can price it.

You do not need a drawing, a grade name or a specification to start. Describe the joint and the failure you are trying to avoid, and we will tell you what we still need.

What you haveSend thisWhat comes back
A failed joint, no drawingPhoto of the part and the tape, the two substrates, where it is used, how long it heldA shortlist of constructions, the likely failure mode and a test plan to confirm it
A dimensioned drawingPDF plus DXF or STEP if you have them, material or performance requirement, annual quantityA quote for the part: material, tooling route, tolerance source, packing and terms
A brand and grade to matchGrade code, the market you buy it in, the documents your tender needsAvailability through our channels, the converting we would do, and the document position
A supplier to replaceThe current construction as you understand it, the volume, what is going wrongA comparison with the trade-offs stated, samples for your own test
A private-label programArtwork or the label you want, roll format, target marketWhat the label may claim, minimum quantity for the packaging, and the artwork approval path
Only an ideaWhat you are building and what the tape has to surviveA material direction, the questions a specification will have to answer, and whether this is a job we can take

Which channel to use

All four reach the same Shenzhen team. Pick the one that matches how urgent and how long your question is.

Email for anything with attachments

yantian0606@gmail.com is the best route when there is a drawing, a specification or a document request. One enquiry per project keeps the thread searchable for both sides, and files can be sent before a form is filled in.

The web form when you want structure

The form asks for the fields a quotation needs — company, country, product family, application, volume — so the first reply can be a proposal rather than a set of questions. Attachments up to 10 MB can go with it.

WhatsApp for a short question

Use +86 135 5486 3137 for a quick check: a photo of a part, a question about a grade, confirming a courier detail. It is the fastest channel and the worst place to hold a specification.

Phone when something is on fire

A line-quality problem, a shipment held at a port, a batch that does not match the sample. Call, and we will pull the work order and the batch record before we answer.

Requirements

What we ask before quoting

These are the seven inputs that decide a construction. If you can answer six of them, the seventh is usually what our reply asks about.

  • The two surfaces being joined, and any coating, oil or release agent on them
  • Whether the bond is permanent or removable, and what "removable" has to survive
  • The load: peel, shear, compression, or a part that must simply stay put through vibration
  • The temperature range the joint sees, including the low end at application, not only service heat
  • The part format: roll, sheet, cut piece, on liner, kitted, or a construction laminated in-house
  • Annual volume and first-order volume, because they change the tooling route before they change the price
  • Destination country and the documents your quality team needs to approve a material

What happens after you send it

Read by the people who run the machines

Enquiries are triaged by the converting team, not by a sales desk. The first question is always which construction and which cutting route, because that decides everything else.

A reply that names what is still open

A quote states the tolerance source, the tooling route, the sample format and the document position. Anything not yet confirmed is written as an open item rather than left vague.

Two or three options, not a catalogue

Where there is a genuine choice, we set out the trade-off: adhesion versus removability, thickness versus cost, stock grade versus lamination.

A file that stays on the project

The enquiry, the drawings, the sample record and the quotation sit together, so a reorder or an audit question does not start from the beginning.

FAQ

Contact questions buyers actually ask

Do you have a fixed reply time?
We do not publish a reply window, because a quote with a number in it depends on the material, the tooling route and the documents involved. What we can say is that enquiries are read on working days by the same team that runs the plant, and anything urgent is worth a phone call rather than a form.
Do you answer in English?
Yes. Written enquiries and quotations go out in English, and the site is the English reference for the grades we stock and the parts we cut. Technical drawings, photographs of the failed part and a short description are enough when a sentence is hard.
Can I get a quote without a drawing?
Yes. A dimensioned photo with the part on a scale — a coin or a ruler in the frame — is often enough to quote a prototype route such as laser cutting. A drawing becomes necessary when tolerances and the cutting source have to be fixed for production.
Where are you, and can we visit?
The converting plant is in Bao’an, Shenzhen, at 13 Ligang South Road, Bogang Community, Shajing Street. Customer and audit visits are arranged by appointment so the right material samples and technical staff are on site — contact us before booking travel.
Is the address on this site the registered one?
It is the operating address used for enquiries and shipments. The legal entity named in a contract and on documents is Shenzhen Xiangyu New Material Co., Ltd., and the quotation confirms which entity is selling.

Prefer to send a drawing first?

Email it to yantian0606@gmail.com with the material and volume. We will come back with a proposal.
