Privacy Policy

How we handle the information you send through this website. Last updated: 7 November 2026.

Who we are

This website is operated by Shenzhen Xiangyu New Material Co., Ltd. (Xiangyu Tape), 13 Ligang South Road, Bogang Community, Shajing Street, Bao'an District, Shenzhen, China. For privacy questions, email yantian0606@gmail.com.

Information we collect

When you submit an enquiry, quote request or sample request, we collect the information you enter: name, company, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, product interest, application details, quantity, shipping address for samples, and any file you upload.

Our hosting provider may also record standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time of request for security and performance purposes. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics tracking on this site.

How we use information

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation or sample proposal.
  • To provide technical documents and follow up on an active project.
  • To arrange shipping and customs documentation where an order is placed.
  • To protect the website against spam, abuse and security incidents.

Legal basis and consent

We process enquiry data because it is necessary to respond to a request you initiated and, where applicable, to perform a contract. If you ask us to add you to a commercial update list, we will rely on your consent and you can withdraw it at any time.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with service providers that help us operate the website or fulfil an order, such as a form-processing provider, email host, courier or freight forwarder, and with authorities where required by law. We ask service providers to use the information only for the service they provide.

Retention

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a commercial relationship, and order records for the period required by accounting and export regulations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, or object to certain processing. Email yantian0606@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising cookies. The hosting provider may use strictly necessary cookies or local storage for security and load balancing. Video on this site is opt-in: a clip is requested from our YouTube channel only after you press play on its cover, and YouTube may set its own cookies at that point. If analytics or marketing tools are added later, this policy will be updated and, where required, a consent notice will be shown.

International transfers

Our team is based in China and may process enquiries there. Service providers may process data in other countries. We take reasonable steps to protect information during these transfers.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The updated date at the top of the page shows the latest revision.

In practice

What happens to each kind of information

The same commitments as the sections above, arranged by what you actually send rather than by legal category.

What you provideWhy it is neededWhere it goesWhat does not happen to it
Name, company and emailTo answer the enquiry and know who the quotation is addressed toOur sales inbox, or the enquiry record kept by this siteIt is not sold, and it does not join a marketing list unless you ask
Phone or WhatsApp numberTo reply where an email thread is impracticalAs aboveIt is not used for automated calling or advertising audiences
Application, quantity and destinationTo choose a construction, a machine route and a freight option that is realInto the quotation, and later the order and work-order recordIt is not published and not shown to another customer
Drawings, photographs and filesTo quote a shape, a tolerance or to look at a failure you are showing usWith the enquiry; a drawing then informs the work order for that partIt is not republished or reused as marketing material
Server request dataTo keep the site running and to see abuseHosting provider logs: address, page, time of requestIt is not built into a visitor profile, because no analytics runs here

Questions people usually ask before submitting a form

  • The site sets no advertising cookies and loads no third-party analytics, as the Cookie Notice states
  • Until a form endpoint is configured, the form assembles your message and opens your own email client, so the content leaves through your mail provider
  • Once an endpoint is configured, the fields you complete are transmitted to that service so we can answer, and this policy covers what follows
  • Files you send stay with the enquiry and the part record rather than becoming public material
  • A quotation you receive can be forwarded inside your company; we assume it will be, which is why the terms are printed on it
  • If you ask us to stop contacting you, the request is applied to the address or number you gave us
  • Anything you would rather not put in a form can be described in general terms; we quote from a description more often than from a full drawing

Who to ask, and what a request should include

Access, correction or deletion

Write to yantian0606@gmail.com with enough detail to find the record: the address you used, the approximate date and what the enquiry was about. We respond within a reasonable period and confirm what changed.

Withdraw consent

One line saying so is enough, and it applies to future contact rather than undoing an order record we are required to keep.

Ask before you send

If your company restricts what may be submitted to a supplier website, describe the application in general terms and we will work from that, or agree another route with you.

Complaints and escalation

You may raise a concern with your local data protection authority. We would rather you contacted us first, since most issues turn out to be a record we did not find or an address typed wrongly.
