History & Milestones
From a Shenzhen tape operation in 2017 to a converter with 1,000+ SKUs, 20+ patents and a planned production base in Fujian.

How the company grew
Milestones are listed as company events. Certifications and authorizations remain subject to the current scope and documentation.
| Year | Milestone | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| 2017 | Company founded | Xiangyu begins adhesive tape operations in Shenzhen, focused on material supply and converting. |
| 2018 | Conversion plant opens | The Bao’an plant starts slitting, rewinding and die-cutting, and international exports begin. |
| 2019 | ISO 9001 and brand agency | The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001, and the company becomes a regional agent for tesa and 3M materials. |
| 2020 | Xiamen and Fuzhou branches | Branch operations extend the company’s coverage along the Fujian coast. |
| 2024 | Hefei subsidiary | A subsidiary in Hefei supports customers in central China. |
| 2025 | 1,000+ SKUs and 20+ patents | The range reaches six product families, with in-house slitting, lamination, die-cutting, CNC and laser cutting. |
| Planned Planned | Longmen production base | An 80-mu site in Longmen, Quanzhou, Fujian, is planned with three coating lines. It is not yet operational; timelines are confirmed separately. |

What each phase changed for a buyer
A company history is only useful to a purchaser if it says what became possible when. These are the same events as the table above, read from the buying side.
| Phase | What was added | What a buyer could do afterwards |
|---|---|---|
| 2017 founded | Material supply and technical advice from Shenzhen | Source tape grades and have the conversation in English |
| 2018 plant and export | Own slitting, rewinding and die-cutting, with export shipments beginning | Order a converted format rather than a purchased roll |
| 2019 ISO 9001 and brand agency | A certified quality system, plus authorized access to tesa material | Put our records into a supplier qualification instead of only a datasheet |
| 2020 coastal branches | Branch operations in Xiamen and Fuzhou | Get local support along the Fujian coast as well as in Shenzhen |
| 2024 Hefei subsidiary | A subsidiary serving central China | Hold a southern supply route and a central-China one at the same time |
| 2025 range and process breadth | Six product families, in-house lamination, CNC and laser cutting | Specify a construction and its conversion in one enquiry |
| Longmen, planned | An 80-mu site in Quanzhou with three planned coating lines | Nothing yet: it is not operational and is confirmed separately before it enters a supply plan |
What a milestone does and does not prove
- A founding year says how long the company has traded, not how long any individual has worked with tape
- A certification year says a system was certified then; the current scope and expiry are what a buyer has to check
- A distribution status says how material is obtained, not that every grade is authorized in every country
- A patent count says in-house development happened; it does not describe the performance of your joint
- A planned site is a plan, so it stays labelled as planned until it is running and can be visited
- Repeat supply since 2018 is the practical evidence: the same part has been made twice and matched the record
