Quality & Compliance
Incoming verification, in-process inspection and batch traceability — plus the material documents your quality team needs for approval.

Checks at three points
Incoming material
Batch code, roll width, liner, appearance and available supplier documents are checked before release to production.
In-process
First-off and running checks on width, length, die-cut dimensions, liner condition and visual defects.
Final inspection
Sampling against the agreed specification, packing check and batch label before shipment.
Documents for the selected grade
We issue documents for the actual material in your order, not a generic pack.
| Document | When it is provided |
|---|---|
| Technical data sheet (TDS) | With the quotation or sample for the proposed grade |
| Safety data sheet (MSDS) | On request, for the supplied material |
| RoHS / REACH statement | On request, for the supplied material |
| First-article inspection report | For new or changed die-cut parts |
| Batch / lot record | For traceability requests on converted orders |
| ISO 9001 certificate | On request; confirm that the current scope covers the relevant site and product |
| UL recognition | Where the selected grade holds a current UL file; confirm before approval |
Traceability and complaints
Every converted order carries a work order that links the finished part to the source roll and inspection record. If a problem appears on your line, that link lets us isolate the batch quickly.

Report
Send the part number, batch label, photos and a description of the failure or dimension issue.
Contain
We check remaining stock and, where relevant, pause shipment of the same batch.
Resolve
We investigate material, process and handling, then propose replacement and corrective action.
What we do not claim
We publish the certifications and test data that apply to a specific material. We do not claim a generic plant-wide certificate that is not current. If a document is essential to your approval, tell us at enquiry stage so we can confirm availability before you design around it.
What is inspected, per order type
The check list changes with the product, because a slit roll and a die-cut pad fail in different ways.
| Order type | Checked before release | What travels with it | What is retained |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stock rolls | Batch code, width, liner, appearance, available supplier documents | TDS for the grade where it exists | Incoming check record against the purchase specification |
| Slit rolls | Width, length, core, unwind direction, splice and telescope rules | Packing list with lot references | Slitting setup sheet and roll-build record |
| Laminated constructions | Layer order, adhesive face, thickness and bond consistency | Construction description for the exact laminate | Incoming material records for each layer |
| Die-cut parts | First-article dimensions against the drawing, visual and edge checks | First-article inspection report | Tooling route, drawing version and FAI record |
| Private-label runs | Artwork version, label content, carton marking and pack format | Approved artwork reference and packing specification | Proof approval and the run record against it |
| Export shipments | Packing, pallet or carton condition, marking and document set | Invoice, packing list, transport documents | Shipment file tied to the work order |
What a first-article report is for
The measurement set
The dimensions your drawing marks as critical, measured with the method named on the report, against the tolerance source stated at review.
The route it came from
Which machine and which tooling produced the part, because a laser prototype and a tooled production part are not the same evidence.
The material identity
Brand or in-house grade, construction and lot, so the report can be linked back to the batch that supplied it.
Your approval loop
The document a quality file needs before a purchase order: it is written to be filed, not to be read as marketing.
Quality-system questions
Does ISO 9001 cover my product?
Do you provide PPAP, FMEA or an 8D?
How is sampling decided on a production run?
How long are batch records kept?
Can you test to our standard instead of the datasheet method?
What happens when something goes wrong?
Need a document before you can approve the material?
Send the grade and the standard you are working to. We will confirm what is available for that product.
