Brand Authorization
We are a tesa Platinum Partner and also supply 3M and Sekisui materials. This page explains what that means, what it does not mean, and how to verify it for your market.

Brand authorization is a common sticking point in B2B tape sourcing. A supplier may stock a brand without being authorized to represent it in every country, product family or tender. We prefer to state the position clearly.
tesa Platinum Partner
Xiangyu Tape is certified by the tesa entity that covers Greater China as a Platinum Partner. For day-to-day sourcing, this gives customers access to the tesa portfolio through an authorized channel, with material traceability and technical documentation for the selected grade.
A certificate is a level, a scope and an expiry date, so we publish those lines instead of a logo. These are the details a buyer can check directly with tesa:
| On the certificate | What it states |
|---|---|
| Certificate holder | Shenzhen Xiangyu New Material Co., Ltd. (深圳市享誉新材料有限公司) |
| Issued by | tesa tape (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. |
| Partner level | Platinum Partner (铂金级战略合作伙伴) |
| Industry scope | Industrial Trade and Converting (工业分销与模切) |
| Validity | 2026-04-01 to 2027-03-31 |
| Certificate number | tesaGC AD000437 |
The holder named above is the legal entity that runs this website. The certificate scan is issued to us marked for internal use, so we do not publish the image: the level, the scope and the expiry are what a customer or an audit actually needs, and we will show the document on a call or send it to a procurement contact when a tender requires it.
Authorization is not unlimited. The scope line above covers industrial distribution and converting; inside that, availability still differs by product family, customer type and country. If you are buying for a tender, a regulated product or a customer audit, ask us for the current certificate that covers your product and market before you rely on the relationship in your bid.
3M and Sekisui materials
We also supply 3M and Sekisui products. We do not claim to be an authorized distributor for every 3M or Sekisui product line in every region. Availability is confirmed at quotation, and we can provide the material documentation that comes with the supplied batch.
What to verify
- The certificate is current and names the correct legal entity.
- The product family and market in the certificate match your purchase.
- The quotation states the brand, grade and construction, not just a generic description.
- The batch label and delivery documents match the quoted material.
- For regulated projects, the approval is tied to the exact grade, not to a family name.
Trademarks
tesa, 3M, VHB, Sekisui and other brand names are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used on this site to identify products and materials. Use of a trademark does not imply endorsement beyond the scope of any current authorization.
Request the current certificate
Send the product family, destination country and, if relevant, the tender reference. We will reply with the documents that apply and flag anything that needs to be confirmed with the brand owner.
What to check before you cite the relationship
The order of checks that has caught most problems in practice, written as a list you can work through before a bid.
| Check | What it should show | What a failure looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Legal entity | The certificate names the entity that will invoice and ship your order | A group-level document covering a company that is not your supplier of record |
| Product family | The family or grade list includes the material you are specifying | A status granted for one family being used to imply another |
| Territory | Your country or sales region is inside the scope | A domestic authorization presented as international coverage |
| Currency | The document is in date at the time you submit, not at the time it was issued | An expired certificate attached to a tender as though it were current |
| Quotation wording | Brand, grade and construction are printed on the quotation | A generic description that survives an audit only until someone reads the label |
| Delivery match | Batch label and shipping documents name the same material | A substitution accepted at shipment instead of at review |
How a branded enquiry is worked
- You send the brand, the grade, the destination and what the material has to do
- We check what we can supply under the current relationship and say plainly where we cannot
- The construction is confirmed against your requirement, including whether a cross-reference is closer than the brand grade
- The quotation names brand, grade and construction, plus the documents that will travel with the order
- Authorization documents are issued for the product family and market requested, not a generic pack
- Any change of material after approval is raised as an approval event before production
